Construction Industry Mental Health Signposting Service.
The Building Mental Health Alliance (BMHA) is a Northern Ireland Construction Industry initiative aimed at creating better mental health for all in the sector.
BMHA consists of a collaboration of industry bodies, large contractors and other workplace health and safety organisations from across the Northern Ireland construction industry.
The signposting service initiative is based around a QR code allowing access to a webpage featuring links to three 24/7 helplines provided by Lifeline, Samaritans and The Lighthouse Club. The webpage (which is hosted by Alliance member NI Safety Group) also signposts viewers to other help, support and information on areas that are impacting the mental health of construction workers including anxiety, depression and suicide, addiction, financial worries, family & colleague support and self help.
