This year’s Workers Memorial Day (28th April) is more poignant than ever.
The Coronavirus crisis has demonstrated, as never before, the importance of protecting the safety, health and welfare of all people, whether at home or in the workplace.
For International Workers Memorial Day we commemorate all those workers (especially in Northern Ireland) on the ‘front line’ who have died from Covid-19 whilst trying to protect others.
We invite you, alongside ourselves, to acknowledge and applaud all those workers who continue the fight to protect us, even as they put their own health at risk with a minute silence on Tuesday 28th April at 11.00am.
