To mark Workers' Memorial Day (28th April), a day of remembrance for workers who have lost their lives due to workplace injuries or illnesses we would encourage you to support the HSENI initiative on ‘falls from height’.
Using their ‘step by step guide to working safely a height’ you can show your support by delivering a toolbox talk during the week commencing 24th April.
Then send us a photo of you either delivering the talk or of those listening to the talk (please get their permission) and we’ll publish this in an article on our website and social media.
Workers' Memorial Day is observed annually on April 28th to raise awareness about the importance of workplace safety and to pay tribute to the workers who have lost their lives while on the job. Supporting this campaign shows your commitment to workplace safety standards to protect workers from preventable accidents.
"At The Workplace Health Leadership Group, we recognise the importance of promoting safe workplaces and honouring the memory of those who have lost their lives whilst at work," said our Chair Wilson Lambe. "On Workers' Memorial Day, do renew your commitment to promoting workplace safety by delivering the toolbox talk and letting us know."
Download the ‘step by step guide to working safely a height’ and don't forget to send us an image during or after your toolbox talk.
