Skin Cancer Chemicals

What is Skin Cancer

Skin cancer caused by exposure to certain chemicals is known as chemical-induced skin cancer. It occurs when prolonged or high levels of exposure to specific hazardous chemicals lead to changes in the DNA of skin cells, resulting in uncontrolled cell growth. These changes can cause different types of skin cancers, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and, less commonly, melanoma.
